The application uses an authentication cookie named gh_token to maintain a signed-in session after GitHub OAuth authentication.

Purpose

This cookie is required to authenticate requests to the GitHub proxy and to keep users signed in while using the scanning features. Without it, the authenticated part of the service does not work.

• Type: strictly necessary authentication cookie
• Access: HttpOnly and Secure
• Duration: up to 1 hour unless cleared earlier by logout

Consent

This cookie is used only to provide the authenticated service you request. On that basis, it is treated as strictly necessary.

Future changes

If analytics, advertising, or other non-essential technologies are added later, this notice should be updated and an appropriate consent mechanism should be implemented before those technologies are set.
